It is a good idea to offer the visitor a playlist with the related videos. If everything it is put together in a video playlist is much better.... Your PHP Melody website will look better and attract more visitors.

This is the main function of the The Automatic Youtube Playlist Maker : it will give your visitor the possibility to watch on the same page, in an elegant way, within a playlist, all the videos you want.

Moreover, it doesn’t matter if your videos are or not in your database. the plugin will play them INSIDE the player… and it will fetch the embed version of the video from the Youtube. Cool, isn’t ? So, in 10 seconds you can get 50 videos and offer them to your visitors.

What if youtube change the flv location as they did several times ? Doesn’t matter ! All the videos are embeded.

SCENARIOS:

For a music website:

The admin can search on youtube for an already made playlist with eg Eminem and simply insert it into the plugin. The plugin will generate for your visitors a video playlist with all the videos from it.
Moreover, if the admin have an Youtube account (I am sure he does) he can make a custom playlist and insert for instance all the eminem videos from the New York concert. In this way, he will controll every video will appear in the playlist.

Even if the playlist was inserted into the PHP melody, the admin can insert more videos in the youtube playlist and the videos will automatically be added to his website.

For a movie website:

The admin can generate on Youtube a video playlist with the movie trailer (for instance Avatar) and followed by videos about the post-production, video effects, interviews with the actors ... you name it.

The visitor of your website will be able to see the trailer followed by all the videos defined in the playlist.
The same here: even if the playlist was inserted into the PHP melody, the admin can insert more videos in the youtube playlist and the videos will automatically be added to his website.
