The update of a product means some minor fixies or customizations. (minor versions: 1.1.0, 1.1.2 and so on)
Modmyscript.com will make available to you, free of charge, 3 months to 12 months updates of the Licensed Products from the date of the original order depending on the purchased product.

After the update period of time is done, you need to pay a fee (30%-40%) the price of the original product.
In any cases, the plugin DO NOT cease working.

New main upgrades released after 3 months with new version numbers (1.0, 2.0, 3.0, etc) can be purchased with discounts (discount percentage may vary among products).
Free upgrades are only applicable for license holder that have purchased within 10 days of the new product release.
The "Upgrade Fee" is nonrefundable and Modmyscript.com reserves the right to change this fee structure at its sole discretion.
If PHPsugar will upgrade PHPMelody we will try to make the mods running for that version.
If this is not possible, we will create another brand new for that version and you will receive a discount for the new one.
We reserve the right to cease the development for any plugin without any notice. The customer will receive support for the plugin they bought for the upgrade package.
In case PHPMelody will have some features that our mods offer, we cannot provide refund for those mods.

All our plugins are encrypted using the Ioncube technoloy (www.ioncube.com)
This encryption doesnt negatively affect the speed of the plugin: on contrary, the tests shows that an encrypted script runs faster.
If you try to run the plugin an receive an error related to Ioncube, there is a chance that your server doesn't have the Ioncube loaders installed. (even if 98% of all the servers do)
In this case contact your host and ask to install the Ioncube loaders. It is free and fast.

Once the plugin was activated on a domain, it will be locked to that one.
If you change the domain after a while, the plugin will consider that it is activated from a unlicensed domain, so it will show an error message.
For almost all plugins you can reissue once again the license for the new domain. In order to do it, you have to log into your account, go to your plugin tab, select the license tab and press the link called "Reissue".
For some plugins (Games Plugin) the license has to be reissued by us.
In this case, please open a ticket at www.modmyscript.com/support that will contain:
1. your email (used to buy the plugin)
2. the name of the plugin you want to move on another domain

Please be sure that you already moved the plugin prior of sending us the support ticket.

Once the payment is approved by the payment processor (Paypal or Avangate) you will receive the credentials to access the customer area and to download the plugins.

If you bought the plugins using the Paypal we use a anti-fraud screening before releasing the serial keys. Even though you have full access to the customer area from where you can download the plugins.

Please allows us few hours before releasing the serial keys (you will receive them on the email used to order the plugin(s)) during the weekdays.
In order to speed up the account approval, use a Verified Paypal account.

Once the payment approved and we do the anti-fraud checking the client will receive an email with the plugin serial number
Every plugin archive have, beside the main plugin files, a file called lic_something.php, in the same directory with the main plugin file.

Open that file.

You will see:

Replace Enter your license key here... with your plugin license number.

While we do not officially work in the 'early hours', the evenings and at weekends; we do still try and provide support where possible outside these hours.
We will always try our best to respond to your query/issue as soon as possible, and in some cases we have been able to resolve cases at the weekend in only few minutes
When submitting tickets through the helpdesks or emailing us, here are a few tips which will speed up the resolution time:

1. If you are receiving an error, include a copy of the error message and how we can reproduce it.
2. Most issues require us to login to your installation and/or FTP to solve the problem. Including your administration location & logins along with your FTP details will speed up our resolution time, as we won't have to ask you for these details and then wait for your reply. If you've already included logins in a previous ticket/email and they are still valid, feel free to simply reference the ticket id.
3. Describe your problem or question in detail. The more detail we have, the better we can answer and assist you.
4. Make sure you've checked our knowledge base first - you'll save yourself a lot of time if your question has already been answered!
5. If you have a billing and/or licensing issue, please remember to include your license key, and information regarding the billing transaction (if appropriate).

Some tips of what not to do:

1. Don't 'bump' your ticket to try and get a quicker response. Bumping a ticket will send it to the bottom of the list in our email management software, and will in fact delay our response. However, if you haven't received a response after 12 working business hours, feel free to submit a follow up.
2. Don't email us or submit tickets from an email address which has an auto-responder attached. While our email management software has built in protection to prevent against mail loops which can be caused by auto-responders, these can still occur and have occurred at numerous points over the past year.
